Airtel announced that they will give 10 GB 4G data for new Samsung Galaxy J series smartphone users. It is not free, users will have to pay Rs.250 to avail the offer, which means 10 GB data at the cost of 1 GB.

This offer applies on selected Samsung Galaxy J series smartphones, but neither Samsung nor Airtel has detailed exactly which devices – at the time of writing. This offer is not yet listed in Airtel’s website.

To get the offer, Samsung Galaxy J series smartphones users can visit an Airtel Retails outlet and ask for the offer. Another way is to log onto www.offers.airtel.com from their smartphones using Airtel mobile data (not WiFi) and follow the instruction. Users in non 4G area can also avail the offer, but they can only use 1 GB data in day time, and remaining 8 GB is for night use.

Commenting on the newly launched offer, Ajai Puri, Director – Market Operations, Bharti Airtel, said, “We are delighted to extend our association with the popular Samsung J series. We believe this partnership will help customers enjoy best-in-class smartphone experience on Airtel’s 4G network.”

Recently Airtel had announced a similar 5 GB additional broadband data per month to customers using other Airtel services like mobile and DTH connections. Users will get 5 GB free data for each Airtel service they use. For example, if a user has an Airtel broadband connection at home, along with two Airtel post-paid mobile connections and one Airtel DTH connection, he/she will be eligible for 15 GB of free additional data per month. The offer is applicable for both new and existing Airtel subscribers.
