Google is expected to launch their new Pixel smartphones soon; we are not sure when. The two smartphones are code names Sailfish and Marlin, and will be manufactured by HTC. 360-degree video render of the Google Sailfish smartphone is leaked, and it gives a view of the smartphone from almost every angle.
This new video confirms that the smartphone will come with a USB Type-C port. The USB port is also accompanied by stereo speakers, which are placed behind two rectangular holes. The handset will measure 143.8 mm x 69.5 mm x 7.3 mm and it be 8.5mm at the thickest point (the top). The render shows no headphone port, it does exist at the top, we hope. May be Google will remove the popular 3.5mm audio jack just like Apple did with their new iPhone 7 smartphones.
Previous leaks suggest that the device will also have a full HD display, Snapdragon 820 or 821 processor and 4GB of RAM. 32GB internal storage is expected, without MicroSD card just like older Nexus devices. There will be a 12MP camera on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front. The fingerprint sensor will be on the rear, as we can see it in the render. It will be powered by a 2770 mAh battery. The Google Sailfish will come with Android 7 Nougat out of the box.
HTC Marlin has a 5.5 inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. It has a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor and Adreno 430 GPU with 4 GB RAM. The handset has 32 GB internal storage, but there is no word if there is MicroSD card support. There be 13 MP camera on the rear and an 8 MP camera on the front. HTC Nexus Marlin will be running Android 7.0 out of the box with a 3450 mAh battery. Other features are 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and USB Type-C port.
Huawei will be making a new Nexus tablet for Google. According to rumours, this tablet will have a 7 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. This tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820SoC. The tablet will also have 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. It will come with a 13MP camera on the rear.
