Asus launched its third-generation mainstream notebook, called VivoBook Max X541/A541 for the Indian market. The price will be starting at Rs. 31,990 (with Free DOS) and is available across all partner retailers in a choice of five colours including Chocolate Brown, Red, Silver Gradient, Aqua Blue and White.

The VivoBook Max X541 is powered by a Intel Core i3-7100U processor coupled with Intel HD Graphics 620 and 4GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM, which is expandable up to 12GB. This laptop features a 15.6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It has a ‘gaming grade chiclet keyboard’ with a 2.3mm key travel distance and overall weighs just 1.9kg. The VivoBook Max X541 comes with a 1TB 5400RPM HDD, and also features an optical drive.
The VivoBook Max X541 is powered by a 3-cell 36WHr battery. The notebook comes with two 3W speakers with 24cc sound chambers and a special transmission line design for a rich, deep baseline and clear, distinct vocals. Dimensions of the VivoBook Max X541 are 381x252x27.6mm.
The VivoBook Max laptop will be available in two variants in India, with the above specifications describing the X541 variant. The VivoBook Max A541 on the other hand will come with a Windows OS and a a dedicated GPU – Nvidia GeForce GT 920MX (2GB DDR3 VRAM). Pricing for this model starts at Rs. 36,990, and it features 2-year global warranty. The X541 variant can also be purchased with Windows 10, at a slight price premium, and comes with a 1-year global warranty.
Connectivity options include USB Type-C connector with 5Gbps data transfer speeds, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, VGA and HDMI ports.
