Asus Zenfone 3

Asus launched the Zenfone 3 series Z3nvolution handsets in India. The company has priced the ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) at Rs. 21,999, the ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) at Rs. 27,999, the ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) at Rs. 49,999, and ZenFone 3 Laser (ZC551KL) at 18,999. The and the ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) starts at Rs. 49,999, with the Snapdragon 821 model priced at Rs. 62,999. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the flagship of the three and also the world’s first smartphone to feature Snapdragon 821 chipset. There is another model of Zenfone 3 Deluxe with Snapdragon 820, but it is not yet launched in India.

While the Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) and Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) will be available from Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, and Sangeetha Mobiles from Wednesday, it will hit retail shelves before the end of the month. The Asus ZenFone 3 Laser (ZC551KL), Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL), and Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) on the other hand will be available across online and offline retail channels from next month.

All four smartphones have metal body and support hybrid dual sim card slots.

Asus Zenfone 3

Asus has brought the ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) model to India, which features a 5.2-inch display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 2650mAh battery. It is powered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU.

Asus Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL) has a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1920×1080. It is powered by a Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU. There is 3GB/32GB or 4GB/64GB options. Asus Zenfone 3 will be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. There is a 16 MP rear camera with flash and an 8 MP front facing camera. Asus Zenfone 3 has a 3000 mAh non removable battery. Other features are 4G LTE, GPS, finger print sensor, USB Type C, WiFi and Bluetooth.

Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) on the other hand sports a 6.8-inch full-HD display, and is powered by the same octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It bears packs 64GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It packs a 23-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It’s powered by a 4600mAh non removable battery.

The other model, Zenfone Deluxe is powered by Snapdragon 821. It has a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1920×1080. It has 6GB ram and 64/128/256GB storage options. There is a 23MP camera on the back and one 8 MP camera on the front. Asus Zenfone Deluxe has a 3000 mAh non removable battery. Other features are 4G LTE, GPS, finger print sensor, USB Type C, WiFi and Bluetooth.

Asus Zenfone 3 deluxe SD820 is priced at Rs. 49,999, SD 821 special edition is priced at Rs. 62,999. Zenfone Ultra is priced at Rs. 49,999. Asus Zenfone 3 is priced at Rs. 27,999. The 5.2-inch screen version is priced at Rs. 21,999.

Asus Zenfone 3 Laser has an ultra-fast 0.03 second laser autofocus 13 MP camera. This rear camera sensor is from Sony coupled with electronic image stabilisation. It comes with a 5.5 inch 1920×1080 display with a 2.5D arc glass. There is 4 GB Ram and 32GB internal storage. Zenfone 3 laser is Rs. 18,999.

The company at the launch event also announced that the Asus ZenBook 3 and Asus Transformer 3 Pro, devices that were unveiled at Computex 2016 alongside the ZenFone 3 series, will be available from online and offline retail channels in India from October, priced at Rs. 1,47,990 and Rs. 1,44,990 respectively.
