Asus revealed their new ZenWatch 3 smartwatch with a circular display at IFA 2016. The device runs Android wear and it is the first ZenWatch to sport a round display. The smartwatch is made using “jewellery-grade” 316L stainless steel and is available in three finishes, Gunmetal, Silver, and Rose Gold. There will be two options for the strap, stitched Italian leather or high quality rubber. Both straps will be available in dark brown or beige colors.

Asus ZenWatch 3 also comes with 3 buttons, the top button is for custom functionality. Asus claims that the device can last up to 2 days on a full charge. With the help of HyperCharge Technology, the ZenWatch 3 can charge up to 60 percent in just 15 minutes. Asus also offers an optional battery pack that provides 40 percent more battery life. Asus ZenWatch also offers 30 watch faces, which can be changed using the ZenWatch Manager app. Some watch faces can support customizable widgets to display weather information, daily step count and more. The FaceDesigner app will help users to design their own watch faces easily.
The company claims that the ZenWatch 3 has a 95 percent accurate step counter with the new ZenFit activity tracking app. The same app can also track activities like push-ups, running, and sit-ups. ZenWatch 3 will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC with 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM. This smartwatch is 9.95mm thick, with a 314mAh battery inside.
Asus Vice President Eric Chen, speaking at the pre-IFA 2016 event, said, “IFA is where we launched our very first smartwatch and we have continued the tradition today with ZenWatch 3.
