After Freedom 251 and Docoss X1, the under Rs.1000 smartphones, the ChampOne C1 is here. ChampOne is the new company which claims to deliver a smartphone called ChampOne C1 for just Rs.501, which have better specifications than most mid-range smartphones in the market. ChampOne has a website called champ1india.com, where its smartphone called ChampOne C1 is listed for Rs 501.
The website says, the flash sale will happen on September 2nd and the registration are closed now due to some technical issues with its payment gateway partner [Ccavenue (Avenues India Pvt. Ltd.)].
Flash sale will have Cash on delivery only, then why need for payment gateway? Registration for the flash sale is not free, it will cost you Rs.51 just to register for the flash sale. It is simple, thousands of people will register for Rs.51, and they will bring may a few models for the flash sale. Or the site may get vanished on the day of flash sale. The About Us page doesn’t reveal much, and there are lots of grammatical errors in the website.
The ChampOne C1 claims to have some great specs for the Rs.501 price tag. First of all, the dual SIM device have support for 4G LTE…huh, really? The ChampOne C1 is powered by a quad core MediaTek MT6735 1.3GHz processor with 2GB RAM. There is a 5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720. There is an 8MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front. ChampOne C1 has 16GB internal storage, and a 2500 mAh battery. It also features a fingerprint scanner.
The features are too good to be true, we will not recommend you to go ahead and purchase one. If it was a no cost flash sale, there will be no problem in trying once, but here the flash sale costs money. According to a report, the phone’s price of Rs 501 is currently only for sales promotion and afterwards it will be available for its original price of around Rs 8000.
