RDP, and Indian mobile devices manufacturing company announced the launch of its RDP Thinbook ultra slim 14-inch laptop for Rs.9999. The Windows 10 Home powered laptop is claimed to India’s most affordable laptop. This laptop is for users who will use it for education and all basic applications.

RDP Thinbook Features
RDP Thinbook is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 quadcore SoC (1.44GHz base clock, 1.84GHz Turbo clock, 2MB Cache) coupled with 2 GB RAM. Also comes with 32 GB eMMC internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a Micro SD card. There is a 14.1 inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1366×768. The built in 10000 mAh Li – Polymer battery is claimed to give up to 8.5 hours of battery backup. This laptop has one USB 3.0 posrt, one USB 2.0 port, one Micro HDMI 1.4a port, one Micro SD card slot, and one 3.5mm Earphone jack. Other connectivity features are WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ and Bluetooth 4.1. The device weighs 1.3 Kg and dimensions are 35.1 x 23.3 x 2 cm.
Telangana’s Information Technology Minister K.T. Rama Rao launched the laptop on this Wednesday. He assured all support to the company for its plans to manufacture the device in Telangana in three to four quarters. The company said they plan to sell 30000-40000 devices during this financial year.
The company also showcased affordable 8-inch tablets, 10.1 inch Thinbook 2-in-1 Laptops, the ThinBook Convertible, and the PlugPC, all powered by Intel processors and Microsoft.
