Coolpad Note 5 has been launched in India with a massive 4010mAH battery inside. This smartphone will be an Amazon exclusive and will be available from October 20 priced at Rs. 10,999.

The Coolpad Note 5 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC, coupled with the Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It has a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a pixel density of 401ppi and 2.5D curved glass. The display has 78 percent screen-to-body ratio.
This smartphone will be running Cool UI 8.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. There is a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, CMOS sensor, 5P Lens and dual LED flash. Front camera in 8MP with 5P Lens, f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash to take good selfies even in the dark. The Coolpad Note 5 has 32GB internal storage and it can support MicroSD cards up to 64GB. This phone uses a hybrid dual-SIM slot, which means users can either use two SIM cards or one SIM card and one MicroSD card.
Coolpad Note 5 packs a large 4,010mAh battery, which the company claims to last 14 hours talk time. The handset supports Quick Charge, which is essential for a battery this large.
The Coolpad Note 5 has a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. It has support for gesture shortcuts, and will work with both left and right hand input. Company claims the phone supports all 4G bands in India, with 4G VoLTE support.
This smartphone will compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (Rs. 11,999), LeEco Le 2 (Rs. 11,999) and Lenovo Vibe K5 Note (Rs. 11,999).
