Dell launched a new hybrid laptop in their XPS lineup, the XPS 13 2-in-1. The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 will be available in the US from January 5, and the price will start from $999.99 (approx. Rs. 68,100).
The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 is a 13.3-inch Windows 10 hybrid laptop in the frame of a 11-inch laptop. The company claims it to be the “smallest 13-inch 2-in-1 on the planet”. The touchscreen display rotates 360-degrees, allowing the users to use the laptop as a tablet. Dell says it can last up to 15 hours on the full-HD display variant with the help of its 46Whr battery.
The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 sports an aluminium body, a carbon fiber palm rest, and bears Corning Gorilla Glass NBT on the display. It measures 304x199x13.7mm, weighs in at 1.24kg, and sports two Waves MaxxAudio Pro tuned speakers, apart from an infrared webcam and a fingerprint reader.
Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 Specifications
The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 is powered by a seventh generation Intel Core i5-7Y54 processor (up to 3.2GHz) or an Intel Core i7-7Y75 processor (up to 3.6GHz) – both have Intel HD Graphics 615 built-in. User will have a choice of 13.3-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) or an UltraSharp Quad-HD+ (3200×1800 pixels) InfinityEdge touch displays. It comes with 4GB of 1866MHz LPDDR3 RAM, customers will have the option of 8GB or 16GB configurations as well. The base model ships with 128GB SATA SSD, though 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB PCIe SSD options are also available.
For connectivity, it supports a Thunderbolt 3 port, a DisplayPort, USB Type-C 3.1, MicroSD card reader, and a headset jack. Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Miracast, and Intel Smart Connect technology.
