Dell upgraded their XPS 13 laptop with seventh generation ‘Kaby Lake’ Intel Core processors and added a larger 60WHr battery. According to the company, this battery upgrade will increase the laptop’s battery life significantly. Company also launched a Rose Gold color variant of the Dell XPS 13 laptop. The company also updated their Inspiron 15 and 17 5000 laptops with a thinner design, new color options, and seventh generation Intel Core processors.
There is option choose between Quad HD with touchscreen or full HD (which also comes with an optional touchscreen SKU). The company claims that the battery can last up to 22 hours on the full HD screen model and it will last up to 13 hours for the QHD+ option.
The new Rose Gold variant will be available in two options. The first model comes with seventh generation Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and 13.3-inch full-HD display, while the second variant comes with a seventh generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and a 13.3-inch QHD+ touchscreen display.
Dell XPS 13 also comes with 1535 Wireless-AC technology, which will provide stronger and more reliable WiFi connection. The Dell XPS 13 laptop’s price starts from $799 (approx. Rs. 53,500). A developer edition of the laptop will be available from October 4 starting $949 (approx. 63,600). The Rose Gold variant’s price starts from $1179 (approx. 79,000).
The updated Inspiron 15 5000 and Inspiron 17 5000 laptops will be thinner and will be available in Sparkling white, Midnight Blue, Fog Night, Matte Gray, Black, Bali Blue, Tango Red, Cosmic Purple.
Both Inspiron 15 5000 and Inspiron 17 5000 will be available with the new seventh generation Intel Core processors. These laptops will be available from October 4 and the price will start from $550 (approx. 37,000)
