Google is expected to unveil to Nexus devices this year. The smaller of the two is code named ‘Sailfish’, has been spotted in bench marking websites AnTuTu and Geekbench. W Weibo user posted a screenshot of the phone’s details in AnTuTu. As per the image, the Nexus Sailfish has a Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4 GB RAM. The listing also shows the phone will be running on Android NMR1, which stands for Android Nougat Manufacturer Release 1. The phone is supposed to sport 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera. Nexus Sailfish will offer 32 GB of internal storage.
The listing in Geekbench also suggest the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4 GB RAM. Geekbench benchmark results are, 2158 in the single core test and 5355 in multi-core test, which is close to what other Snapdragon 820-powered devices like the OnePlus 3 and LeEco Le Max2 have scored. Previous benchmark listings also showed the same features.
HTC will be making the Nexus devices this year. Reports suggests that the larger version will be code named ‘Marlin’. Marlin will also have similar hardware features, but with a larger 5.5 inch QHD display.
