Honor 9 Lite smartphone has been launched in India at ane vent in New Delhi. The sale will start from January 21 and it will be a Flipkart exclusive. Main highlight of the smartphone will be the quad cameras, two on the front and two on the rear. Honor is also providing EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
The variant with 3GB of Ram and 32GB of storage will cost Rs. 10,999 and the 4GB RAM variant with 64GB of storage will cost Rs. 14,999. The first flash sale will be on 12am IST (midnight) on January 21, followed by the second at 12pm (noon) IST the same day. Following these sales, the next two sales will be held at noon on January 22 and January 23. Both variants will be available in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, and Glacial Grey colour variants. Honor is offering 10 percent instant discount for Citibank credit and debit card users.
Honor 9 Lite specifications
This smartphone is powered by an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC and comes in 3GB or 4GB of RAM variants. It has 5.65-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 428ppi pixel density. Storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a MicroSD Card. There is a 13MP+2MP camera setup on both front and rear. Rear camera has LED flash and PDAF auto focus.
The Honor 9 Lite is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone running EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The sensors on the handset include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer (digital compass), and proximity sensor. Battery capacity is 3000mA, the smartphone measures 151×71.9×7.6mm and weighs 149 grams.
