Honor 9i

Honor 9i smartphone has been launched in India with four cameras and a 5.9-inch FullView display. It has been priced at Rs. 17,999 in India, and the handset will be available exclusively via Flipkart from October 14. It will be available in Platinum Gold, Navy Blue, and Midnight Black colour options. Honor also launched a 1000mAh Quick Charge Power Bank priced at Rs. 2,399, It will be available via Honor online store for India, and as a Diwali offer it will be available for Rs. 1,999 till October 28.

Honor 9i features

Main highlights of this smartphone are the FullView display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and ‘double dual cameras’. Two cameras are on the front and two are on the rear. Honor 9i features the ‘Huawei Histen audio system’ from its 2012 Lab, it will enhance sound output. Honor is also highlighting Bluetooth aptX support. This smartphone comes with many gesture-based shortcuts like ‘draw an S’ for a long screenshot to capture an entire webpage; ‘tap twice with one finger’ for a screenshot, and ‘tap twice with two fingers’ for screen recording.

Honor 9i specifications

This smartphone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor powers the handset clocked at 2.36GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It has a 5.9-inch full-HD display with a screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels (FHD+) and comes with a screen to body ratio of 83 percent. The front dual camera setup used one 13-megapixel sensor and one 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear camera setup has a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor.

The Honor 9i comes with metal unibody design and it runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It has a 3340mAH battery and offers standby time up to two days.
