HTC launched their new HTC One A9s at the IFA event, it looks like an iPhone with Android OS. HTC has not revealed any details about the product’s price or availability. But the company confirmed that the device will be priced lower than the last year’s One A9. It is expected that the company will launch this device on October.
One A9s Specifications
The HTC One A9s looks identical to the old One A9 with a metal build body. The device will be available in Black, Gold, and Silver colors.
HTC One A9s is powered by a 64-bit octa-core (2GHz quad-core + 1GHz quad-core) MediaTek Helio P10 processor. The first model will have 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. The second model has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Both models support to expand storage using a MicroSD card up to 2TB.
This smartphone comes with a 5 inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. For some strange reason, HTC has decided to cut costs and strip out the Full HD display that ships on board the original One A9 in favor of a substandard 720p panel. The old HTC One A9 has a Full HD AMOLED screen. It has a 13MP rear camera with BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, which can record full HD videos. The front camera if of5MP, which also can record full HD videos.
HTC One A9s will have the fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button. It has HTC BoomSound and two microphones for noise cancellation. Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, Glonass, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. It has a 2300mAh battery and the smartphone measures 146.49×71.5×7.99mm and weighs around 150 grams. HTC has introduced its Boost+ feature from its flagship model the HTC 10, which monitors app power consumption.
