Lava Launched a new budget smartphone in India, the Lava A56. The Lava A56 is priced at Rs.4199 and it is now available to buy from retailers across the country.

The Lava A56 is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It has a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display There is 4GB internals storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a MicroSD card. This is a dual-SIM smartphone running on Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.

The Lava A5 has a 5MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a VGA (0.3-megapixels) camera on the front for selfie purposes. This device comes with a 1850mAh battery. On connectivity side, it supports GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth v2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Lava A56 measures 147×72.2×9.9mm and is available in White and Black colour options.

Lava recently launched a VoLTE supported X28 smartphone for Rs.7349. The Lava X28 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It has a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display on the front with a pixel density of 267ppi. This dual-SIM smartphone comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and supports 4G VoLTE for HD voice calls. It supports 4G LTE bands in India – FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). There is an 8MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 2MP camera on the front with LED flash. This smartphone has 8GB internal memory and it can be expanded up to 32GBiusnign a MicroSD card. The provided 2600mAH battery is claimed to deliver up to 14 hours of talk-time on 3G and up to 16 hours of talk time on 2G.

Lava recently announced a ‘365 days screen replacement’ offer. Under this offer all customer who buy a Lava smartphone or feature phone between 15th Sept and 15th November 2016 will get free screen replacement if it gets damaged. This will be a onetime offer, which means you will not get free replacement for the second time. But all customers will have to pay the labour charges of Rs.250 for smartphones and Rs.150 for feature phones.
