Lenovo might launch their new Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone in India next week. The company has released few teasers describing the features of the smartphone. The Lenovo Z2 Plus is believed to be the successor of Lenovo SUK Z1, which was launched in India earlier this year. However, the company seems to have ditched the ZUK brand name. The Lenovo Z2 Plus might be the ZUK Z2, which was launched in China in June this year.

One of the teaser suggest the smartphone will be stronger than metal. The company claims that there is a new internal heat conduction technology that prevents the device from overheating. The second teaser hints the multipurpose home button, the video starts with the caption “buttons control everything”. The Lenovo Z2 Plus will come with the U-Touch feature for navigation and controlling other features. The U-Touch button will also work as a fingerprint scanner, which will work even with moist or wet fingers.

Another teaser revels the smartphone’s health-focused features. The Lenovo Z2 Plus will have a health app called the U-health.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. It will have a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. There will be 64GB internal storage without any support for MicroSD card. There is a 13MP camera on the rear with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, electronic image stabilization (EIS) and 4K video recording capabilities. The front carries an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 80 degrees wide angle lens. It will come with the ZUI 2.0 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The dual-SIM Lenovo Z2 Plus will come with a 3500mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. On the connectivity side, it will have support for 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C port.
The ZUK Z2 is priced 1800 Yuan in China, which is approximately Rs. 18,400. If the company launch this smartphone with price range in India, it will compete with the Motorola Moto X Play and Xiaomi Mi Max. there is no word from the company regarding the launch data, but reports suggests it might be on September 20.
