LG Q6+ Specifications

The biggest highlight of the LG Q6+ smartphone is the 5.5-inch 2160×1080 18:9 IPS FullHD+ display with an impressive 78% screen-to-body ratio and a pixel density of 442ppi. The bezel-less design will be making the overall form factor of the device equal to a 4.7-inch screen smartphone. It is powered by the 1.3GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The smartphone will be available in 3GB/32GB onboard storage. Onboard storage can be further expanded up to 2TB using a MicroSD card in the dedicated slot. LG should have brought the 4GB/64GB variant instead of the 3G/32GB variant in India.

The LG Q6+ has a 13MP single rear camera, unlike the dual-camera setup in the flagship G6. Front camera is 5MP with a 100-degree wide-angle lens. The device runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with the LG UX 6.0 UI on top.

This smartphone comes with a 3000mAh non-removable battery with support for fast charging, version unknown. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 142.5 x 69.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs 149 grams. Sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are available.

The LG Q6+ doesn’t have fingerprint sensor but company has included facial recognition feature, but the new feature is not as good as the finger print scanner.

Commenting on the launch, Amit Gujral, Chief Marketing Officer- LG Electronics India said, “The new LG Q6+ sets the benchmark in bringing the best of technology at an accessible price point to the consumers in India. Now more than ever, mobile devices are at the center of consumers’ lives as they look for a synthesis of usability and best technology and Q6+ is sure to offer them the same.”
