LG V20

LG launched their latest flagship smartphone in India, the LG V20. This smartphone has been priced at Rs. 54,999, it will be available online exclusively from Amazon India from Tuesday.

LG V20 Launch Offers

The LG V20 will be bundled with a free B&O PLAY headset worth Rs. 18,000. The company is also providing exchange offers, where customers can get a “minimum Rs. 20,000 off”. The company will also be bundling a free SF coated back cover. The highlight of the smartphone is its dual screen and dual rear camera setup. The LG V20 also has a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, HD Audio Recorder, and B&O PLAY speakers. It was the first smartphone to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box when it was launched back in September.

The V20 is made out of AL6013 metal, which is used to build aircraft, sailboats, and mountain bikes. According to the company, the device can service drops from a height of four feet. The 64GB variant will be available in India, it also supports to expand storage up to 2TB using MicroSD card.

LG V20 Specifications

LG V20 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, with two cores clocked at 2.15GHz and the other two running at 1.6GHz. It has 4GB RAM and the version launched in India has 64GB of internal storage, with MicroSD card support up to 2TB. There is a main 5.7 inch QHD (2560×1440) IPS Quantum Display, and just like the LGV10, this device has a secondary display. The font size in the secondary display is 50 percent larger than the V10’s, making it easier to view notifications and alerts.

The LG V20 has a dual rear camera setup, a 135-degree 8MP lens with f/2.8 aperture accompanied by 16MP 75-degree lens with f/1.8 aperture, and a 5MP 120-degree lens with f/1.9 aperture on the front. It can also record Hi-Fi videos and the optional Low Cut Filter (LCF) technology is claimed to remove unwanted background noise and Limiter (LMT) while recording audio, which can now be captured using 24-bit / 48 kHz Linear Pulse Code Modulation (LPCM). LG V20 comes with USB Type-C port and it will be available in titan, silver, and pink colors. The device draws its power from a 3200mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0. It has a removable battery with a traditional removable back plate design.
