Reliance launched a new LYF smartphone priced at Rs. 13,399. The LYF F1 smartphones comes with a feature called as Carrier Aggregation (CA) which claims to improve the phone’s data transfer speeds while also saving battery life.
LYF F1 Specifications
The LYF F1 is powered by a 64 bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor (4×1.52GHz + 4×1.21GHz) with processor with Adreno 405 and 3GB of RAM. It has a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a pixel density of 400ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. This smartphone has a 16MP PDAF camera on the rear with dual LED flash and an 8MP auto focus camera on the front with screen flash. Rear camera can record 1080p video at 30fps and 720p videos at 30fps.
It has 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a MicroSD card. The dual-SIM supported LYF F1 will come with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box. Both SIM slots are 4G supported, but only one slot can work in 4G mode at a time.
LYF F1 Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, USB 2.0, GPS, and 3.5mm Stereo jack. There is a 3200mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 4.2 hours of talk time on 4G. It weighs 153 grams and dimensions are 155.5mmx77.6mmx7.9 mm. Included sensors are; Gyroscope, Ambient Light, Accelerometer, Proximity, E-Compas.
