Apple launched the MacBook Pro 2016 in October this year. At the time of launch, the company didn’t reveal their plan to launch these devices in India. Earlier this month Apple quietly started to roll out MacBook Pro 2016 without Touch Bar in India. Now the variant with Touch Bar is available from selected dealers.

MacBook Pro 2016 With Touch Bar Now Available in India
An Apple Reseller in Kerala, IT Net Infocomm, has announced on Twitter that it has the new Touch Bar variant in stock. The 13-inch Touch Bar variant is priced starting at Rs. 1,55,900, and the 15-inch variant is priced starting at Rs. 2,05,900.

The main highlight of the new MacBook Pro is its multi-touch control strip called the ‘Touch Bar’ which replaces the Fn key row. The new MacBook Pro also has a Touch ID sensor integrated into the power button. New MacBook Pro is powered by 6th-gen Intel Core i5 or i7 CPUs with 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB SSDs. The 13-inch model has a display resolution of 2560×1600, and it comes with integrated Intel Iris 540 graphics. The 15-inch model has a 2880×1800 resolution and it comes with AMD Radeon Pro graphics.
The models with Touch Bar feature four USB Type-C ports which support Thunderbolt 3 as well as USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds, while the one without Touch Bar has only two ports. Apple also detailed a new Thunderbolt 3 5K monitor developed in partnership with LG, which will work as a dock to charge a MacBook Pro while also featuring breakout ports for other devices, plus a webcam, speakers and mic array.
