Meizu launched the M5 Note smartphone at an event in China. The pre-order has been started in China and the sale will start from Thursday. There are 3 variants of Meizu M5 Note based on RAM and storage, 3GB RAM/16GB storage variant is priced at CNY 899 (approx. Rs. 8,900), 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 999 (approx. Rs. 9,900), and the variant with 4GB RAM/64GB storage will cost CNY 1,499 (approx. 14,900).
Meizu M5 Note Specifications
The Meizu M5 Note is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor paired with ARM Mali T860 GPU. It has a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS 2.5D curved glass display. Apart from the inbuilt storage, the smartphone also supports expansion with the help of a MicroSD slot (up to 128GB). There is a 13MP camera on the rear with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. The 5MP front camera has f/2.0 aperture and 4P lens. The Meizu M5 Note will run on the newly released Flyme OS 6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Meizu M5 Note is a dual SIM (Nano + Nano) smartphone and it has a 4000mAH battery which is claimed to get charged fully within 90 minutes. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the home button and the company claims that it can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS. It measures at 153.6×75.8×8.15mm, and weighs 175 grams. The Meizu M5 Note will be made available in Grey, Silver, Champagne Gold and Blue color options.
