Mi India will soon increase their offline presence by a partnership with Innocomm and Just Buy Live. That means with this partnership MI India products will be available through more than 5000 offline outlets. This partnership will allow Xiaomi India to sell their products through large retailers like Sangeetha, Big C, LOT Mobiles, Poorvika and others.
Now Mi India devices are only available in online shopping sites like Amazon and Flipkart. Innocomm is a subsidiary distributor of Foxconn which focuses on direct-to-retail model distribution.
“We are primarily an e-commerce company and we have brought our learning from the online model to our offline model. We have chosen Just Buy Live and Innocomm because of their unique models that distribute directly to retailers. I believe that this strategic alliance will strengthen Mi India’s presence across India. As we expand to more than 5000 offline outlets, it allows more people to experience our products and purchase them easily.” Said Manu Kumar Jain, India Head Xiaomi.
Xiaomi confirmed in a press conference that, all of their smartphones including Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi Note 3, Mi4, Mi4i and Mi5 will be available in all major Tier 2 cities in India. They also announced that Mi Max will be available in stores from this Wednesday.
