Surface Studio

Microsoft announced the new Surface Studio desktop computer. This device is meant for creative professionals and has features to make creating artwork with the device easier. It will be available in limited quantities later this year, Pricing starts at $2,999 up to $4,199.

The Surface Studio comes with a 28-inch PixelSense touchscreen display with a pixel density of 192ppi. It is built on a 3:2 aspect ratio and is forged with aluminium enclosure that is just 12.5mm thick. It is powered by an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor. It will have up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB or 2TB of hybrid hard drive.

The Intel Core i5 version will come with  8GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M 2GB GDDR5 Graphics memory. There are two version powered by 6th gen Intel Core i7, first one will come with 16GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M 2GB GDDR5 Graphicsmemory. The second Core i7 version will have 32GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M 4GB GDDR5 Graphics memory.

It has a 5.0 MP auto focus front camera capable of recording full HD videos. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi AC, IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 4 x USB 3.0, 1 Gigabit Ethernet port , 3.5mm Headset jack and Mini DisplayPort. It also comes with a 2.1 surround speaker system. All version will come with Windows 10 Pro and 30 days of free trial for MS Office.

Zero-gravity hinge allows you to move it from standard desktop position to a drawing surface with just one finger, and a base that houses everything needed to run the computer, with just a single power cable coming out of it.
