The all-metal smartphone, Moto M is now available to buy from offline retailers in India. It was launched in India back in December as a Flipkart exclusive, in two variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage at Rs. 15,999, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage at Rs. 17,999.
Moto M Specifications
The Moto M is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor coupled with Mali T860MP2 GPU. It has a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass. There is a 16MP rear camera with PDAF (Phase-Detection Auto Focus), f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The front camera is 8MP with built in Beauty mode. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
This new smartphone has a metal unibody design, with rounded corners and narrow edges. The device also has p2i’s nano coating which makes is resistant to splashes and light rain. The fingerprint scanner is now placed on the back, and the phone has support for support for Dolby ATMOS.
The Moto M will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The company has promised that the Nougat update will soon hit the smartphone. For connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz+5GHz), Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (USB 3.1), NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It has a 3050mAh battery, the smartphone weighs 163 grams and dimensions are 151.35×75.35×7.85mm.
