Lenovo in a tweet confirmed that the Moto M smartphone will be launched in India soon. The company teased an image of the Moto M metal-clad smartphone. In its tweet, Motorola India said, “Something different is coming your way. Stay tuned to know more,” accompanied by the hashtag #comingsoon.
Motorola Moto M Specifications
The Moto M smartphone has a full metal unibody design with antenna bands running on top and bottom edges. This smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 SoC with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. There is 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB using a MicroSD card in the hybrid slot.
The dual-SIM supported Moto M will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. It has a 16MP PDAF camera on the rear with dual-LED flash and an f/2.0 aperture. There is an 8MP camera on the front for selfie and video calls. This smartphone comes with a 3050mAh battery ith support for fast charging.
For connectivity, it has support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (USB 3.1), NFC, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and magnetometer. It weighs in at 163 grams, measures 151.35×73.35×7.85mm, and also features Dolby Atmos-powered audio.
