Google’s next Nexus smartphones are code named Marlin and Sailfish; we have no clue what the devices will be called when they actually arrive. What we know is the price, a recent report claims to reveal the price of these new smartphones. The Nexus Marlin will be the higher model with larger display.
The higher model, Nexus Marlin will cost around $599 (approx. Rs. 40000) with 32GB storage and the mid-mange Sailfish could start at $449 (approx. Rs. 30000) with 32GB storage, according to Nexus Blog. It cost even more when it reach India due to taxes. The company will also launch a 64GB model, it is not clear if the devices will have MicroSD card support or not. Considering Google’s recent Nexus smartphones, we won’t see a MicroSD slot in the new devices.
HTC Marlin has a 5.5 inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. It has a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor and Adreno 430 GPU with 4 GB RAM. The handset has 32 GB internal storage, but there is no word if there is MicroSD card support. There be 13 MP camera on the rear and an 8 MP camera on the front. HTC Nexus Marlin will be running Android 7.0 out of the box with a 3450 mAh battery. Other features are 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and USB Type-C port.
Nexus Sailfish will have a smaller 5 inch full HD (1920×1080) display. All other features will be same as the Nexus Marlin. Including the Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor and Adreno 430 GPU with 4 GB RAM. Both the handsets are also expected to have fingerprint scanner and NFC support.

We expected that the larger model, Marlin, will also have similar design and hardware. The latest images show that there will be black, gold and silver models with unusual dual tone designs at the rear panel.
