HMD Global launched the Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone in China. The 32GB Nokia 6 (2018) variant will be available with a price tag of CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 14,600), and the 64GB variant will come at CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs. 16,600). Both the variants will be available in Black and Silver colour options.
The first-generation Nokia 6, which was launched back in January came with a front-facing fingerprint sensor, but the Nokia 6 (2018) has the fingerprint sensor on the back panel. HMD Global also decided to drop the capacitive buttons on the front panel and decided to go with on-screen navigation buttons. There is no 18:9 aspect ratio, Nokia 6 (2018) has the same old 16:9 aspect ratio. This new smartphone has a metal unibody build that is made of 6000 series aluminium.

This smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, which is clocked at 2.2GHz, coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It has a 5.5-inch IPS display with a full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The storage can be upgraded up to 128GB using a MicroSD card in the hybrid dual-SIM slot. Rear camera is 16MP with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF lens that has f/2.0 aperture. Front camera is 8MP with an f/2.0, 84-degree wide-angle lens.
The Nokia 6 (2018) will run stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, with an expected Android 8.0 Oreo update soon. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has FM radio, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. Battery capacity is 3000mAh with support for fast charging. It measures 148.8×75.8×8.6mm and weighs 172 grams.
