We have been hearing about the comeback of Nokia for a long time now. Nokia has been trying to come back since the launch of their first Android device, the Nokia N1 Tablet. It was available only in a few markets, but the product was a success. Recent reports suggest that the company it trying to come back to the smartphone market by the end of 2016 or by early next year. Previous rumors suggested there will be two new smartphones from the company, but there is a new device, the Nokia D1C.

Nokia D1C Appeared On GeekBench

The latest news is a Nokia smartphone has been spotted in Geekbench, a bench marking website. System information says it is the Nokia D1C smartphone. If the listing is correct, this smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 SoC. This chipset is clocked at 1.4GHz and comes with Adreno 505 GPU inside it. It is expected that the phone will come with 3GB of RAM. This Geekbench listing doesn’t have information on RAM, internal storage or about the camera. The Nokia D1C will come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Another earlier report suggested Nokia is preparing a smartphone with a QHD display. It might not be the Nokia D1C, we can expect that this smartphone will have a full HD display resolution. Nokia’s upcoming smartphones will be manufactured by Foxconn and they will be planning to launch at least three smartphones including the Nokia D1C.
