Finally, OnePlus revealed the launch date for their OnePlus 5T smartphone. It will happen on November 16, at an event in New York City. It will be made available in India from November 21, as a flash sale. The regular sale in India will commence a week later, on November 28. The company CEO Pete Lau suggested that the price will stay under CNY 4,000 (approx. Rs. 39,000), but the price in India may go little high due to import taxes. The launch event will be live streamed and interested users can follow the company’s dedicated page for updates on the OnePlus 5T.
OnePlus 5T Specifications
Coming to the specifications, it is expected to sport a 6.01-inch display, with a resolution of 1080×2160 and an aspect ratio of 18:9. There is chance for a 20-megapixel front camera and the rear camera setup might remain the same. It is likely to run Android 8.0 Oreo based OxygenOS.
This smartphone will be powered by the same Snapdragon 835 SoC which is used in the OnePlus 5, as there are no better chipset available for Android yet. OnePlus online retail partner Amazon India has already published a dedicated page for the OnePlus 5T.
