OnePlus 5T smartphone has been launched at an event in New York. It will be made available in India from November 21, as a flash sale. The regular sale in India will commence a week later, on November 28.
The OnePlus 5T with 6GB RAM will be available for Rs. 32,999 and the 8GG variant will cost Rs. 37,999. The price is same as the OnePlus 5, which is available still now via Amazon India.
OnePlus 5T Specifications
Just like the OnePlus 5, the new variant is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and Adreno 540 GPU. It will, be available in two variants, 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM (an upgrade from the 5’s LPDDR4 RAM), 64 or 128 GB of UFS2.1 2-LANE storage, and a 3,300 mAh battery. The main highlight of OnePlus 5T is the new 6.01-inch FullHD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) 18:9 Optic AMOLED display protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The camera setup has changed, there is no 2x zoom anymore. The rear dual camera setup uses one 16MP Sony IMX 398 sensor and one 20MP IMX 376K sensor. Both sensors have an f/1.7 aperture and 27.22mm focal length. The rear camera can record 4K videos at 30fps, 1080p videos at 60fps/30fps and slow Motion 720p videos at 120fps. Front camera is 16MP Sensor IMX 371 sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and it can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
The OnePlus 5T is a dual-SIM (nano) smartphone running OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. And yes, they kept the 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options include USB 2.0, Type-C, MIMO 2*2, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4/5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, supports aptX & aptX HD, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and NFC. This smartphone supports a lots of sensors including Fingerprint, Hall, Accelerometer, G-sensor, Electronic Compass, Gyroscope, Proximity and Ambient Light Sensor. Dimensions are 156.1x75x7.3mm and it weighs 162 grams.
The OnePlus 5T box will come with the phone itself, Screen Protector (pre-applied), Translucent Case, Dash Type-C Cable, Dash Power Adapter, SIM Tray Ejector and some documentations.
