OnePlus 5 has gone out of stock in many countries including the US. There were rumors about a new smartphone from the company, which could be the OnePlus 5T. There was even a fake invite banner spreading across the internet, claiming the OnePlus 5T will be launched on November 5, which later turned out to be fake.

New OnePlus 5T Render
The first leaked render was an Oppo F5 smartphone, which was supposed to be revealed by the end of this month. But the new image is different, which shows a narrower 18:9 display with small bezzels at the top and bottom. There is no finger print scanner on the front, it is placed on the rear panel. If this is true, we can expect the same rear camera setup using a a 20-megapxiel sensor and a 16-megapixel sensor with minor improvements.
Unlike the OnePlus 3T, the company has little to offer. The OnePlus 5 is currently running on the latest Snapdragon chipset, just like most other flagships in the market. Recently OnePlus’ CEO Carl Pei tweeted “Guess the OnePlus 5 was more popular than we thought”, which means the OnePlus is no more in manufacturing! He used a ‘was’ not an ‘is’…. If OnePlus didn’t launch an 18:9 smartphone soon, they might get behind other manufacturers in terms of design. Xiaomi recently launched their Mi Mix 2 in India, which has an 18:9 display with the best bezel less design in the market.
