Oppo launched a new smartphone, the Oppo A57 in China. This mid-range smartphone will be available in China from December 12 priced at CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs. 16,000) in Rose Gold and Gold color variants. The company has not revealed any information regarding this smartphone’s launch in other markets.
Oppo A57 Specifications
The Oppo A57 is powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. It has a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280) LCD display with 2.5D curved glass. The main highlight is the 16MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera is a 13MP with an aperture of f/2.2, and PDAF, along with an LED flash module. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the physical home button.
The Oppo A57 has 32Gb of internal storage which can be expanded using a MicroSD card up to 128GB. For connectivity, it has support for 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone is powered by a 2900mAh battery, it measures 149.1×72.9×7.65mm and weighs in at 147 grams.
Oppo recently announced the Oppo R9 smartphone powered by octa core processor. This smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 64 bit octa core processor with Mali T860 GPU. It sails on Android Lollipop + Color OS 3.0 UI with 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and 128GB micro SD card support. R9 sports a 5.5 inch AMOLED screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. A 13MP camera is packed on the back with LED flash support and 4K video recording capabilities. The secondary (front facing) camera surprisingly is of 16MP resolution. Other features are dual SIM slots (Hybrid), finger print sensor, 4G LTE (VoLTE support), 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. Oppo R9 houses a 2850 mAh battery with fast charger (VOOC Flash) support. It is priced at RMB 2799 (approx ₹28700).
