Reliance Jio launched new plans for both prepaid and postpaid users. The Dhan Dhana Dhan offer has been extended with a new Rs. 399 pack, which gives low cost services for another three recharge cycles. The company has also revised its existing plans by extending their validity and increasing the bundled data while keeping the prices the same. The Rs. 303 and Rs. 499 packs have been phased out in favor of the Rs. 309 and Rs. 509 packs.
Reliance Jio prepaid plans
The Rs. 309 plan gives the same benefits of unlimited data (1GB per day), voice and SMS calling benefits, but validity has been increased from 28 days to 56 days.
The Rs. 509 plan also remains the same but with unlimited data (2GB per day), voice and SMS calling benefits, but validity has been increased from 28 days to 56 days.
The Rs. 349 and Rs. 399 packs are part of the company’s new Every Day More Value (EDMV) plans, under which it promises to deliver “20 percent more value than competitors’ best plans.”
The new Rs. 349 plan gives 20GB (10+10GB) of 4G data for 56 days with no daily data cap, and when the data is exhausted the Internet speed will reduce to 128kbps. The Rs. 399 plan is similar in terms of data allowance, but it offers a validity of 84 days.
Other plans remain the same with first recharge benefits provided with Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer now gone from the mix.
Relaince Jio postpaid plans
Postpaid plans are available at Rs. 309, Rs. 349, Rs. 399, Rs. 509, and Rs. 999, with validity lasting up to three months and different benefits offered in different plans. The new plans introduced are at Rs. 349 and Rs. 399 which offer two months and three months of validity. The Rs. 349 plan offers 20GB of 4G data after which the speed drops to 128kbps. The Rs. 399 plan offers unlimited 4G data with the 1GB per day cap and other unlimited voice and SMS benefits.
