Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) smartphone has been launched in India at an event in New Delhi. Major highlights of this smartphone are its Infinity Display with Super AMOLED tech, 6GB of RAM, IP68 dust and water resistance, the Always On screen ambient display, Samsung Pay support, Bixby support, as well as dual front cameras. It will be available an Amazon India exclusive from January 20 with a price tag of Rs. 32,990.

This smartphone is powered by a Samsung Exynos 7885 octa-core SoC (two cores clocked at a 2.2GHz and six cores clocked at 1.6GHz) with 6GB of RAM. It has a 6-inch FHD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED display in 18.5:9 aspect ratio. There is 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a MicroSD card.
The dual-front camera setup uses one 16MP fixed focus, f/1.9 image sensor and an 8MP f/1.9 sensor. This setup allows the smartphone to provide blurred background in images with a Bokeh effect. Rear camera is 16MP with an f/1.7 lens and LED flash.
