Samsung Galaxy C9 might be the company’s first smartphone with 6GB of RAM. A new Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-C9000 has been spotted in Geekbench. Most probably it might be the new Galaxy C9, which was being rumored for some time now.
Samsung Galaxy C9 in GeekBench
Geekbench listing shows a smartphone with 6-inch display and 6GB of RAM. Previous rumours suggest that the device will come with a 5.7-inch display. Even the current flagship of Samsung has only 4GB of RAM. It was also expected that the company might launch a 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy Note 7 in China. Samsung Galaxy C9 or whatever the model name is, it will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU clocked at 1.4GHz.
It will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with more Samsung bloatware on top, which will help the device to lag and perform poorly, which is a company moto. Most of the other specifications look similar to the Galaxy A9. A report from Sammobile suggests, Samsung might be working to launch Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro as well with mid-range specifications.
A smartphone with same model number is also spotted in the Indian import-export website Zauba priced at Rs. 17,107 per unit. These are just declared values; price will be higher when the smartphone appears in the market.
