Samsung launched the budget 4G smartphone in India, the Samsung Galaxy J1 (4G). It has been priced at Rs. 6,890 (best buy) and will be available soon from physical retailers across the country. It is listed in Gold, Black and White color variants on the Samsung India site.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 (4G) is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 4.5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) Super AMOLED display. There is 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a MicroSD card. Rear camera is 5MP with LED flash and front camera is 2MP.
