Samsung launched their new Galaxy J7 Prime in Vietnam. The new J-series smartphone has been priced at VND 6,290,000 (roughly Rs. 19,000) and will be available starting August 23 in Vietnam. Samsung has not revealed if they have plans to launch this smartphone in more markets.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor. There is a5.5 inch IPS display with a Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution. The front also sports the 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a MicroSD card. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime supports dual-SIM (both Micro-SIMs). There is a 13MP camera on the rear with a f/1.9 aperture with LED flash, it supports Full HD video recording. The front camera is an 8MP sensor with a f/1.9 aperture. The device measures 151.5×74.9×8.1mm and packs a 3300mAh battery. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, W-Fi, USB-OTG, and Micro-USB. The handset supports LTE Cat. 4 download speeds.
