As expected, Samsung launched the Galaxy J7 Prime in India along with the galaxy J5 Prime. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is priced at Rs.18790 and Galaxy J5 Prime is priced at Rs.14790. Galaxy J7 Prime will be available from Monday, the Galaxy J5 Prime will go on sale from the end of September. This smartphone was first launched in Vietnam last month.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Specifications
Both devices come with features like the S power planning; a reserve battery technology for when the battery is running low, and S SUcure; a feature to lock/hide apps. Both smartphones will also come with Vodafone data offer, in which the user will have to pay for 1GB data and get 9GB data free for three months.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is an upgraded version of the Galaxy J7 (2016). Unlike the old version, the Galaxy J7 Prime comes with a fingerprint scanner on the home button. Galaxy J7 (2016) has HD display, 2GB RAM,16GB internal storage and a 5MP front camera. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has full HD display, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and an 8MP front camera.
Other hardware features are almost same as the galaxy J7 (2016). This dual SIM smartphone will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. It will be powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The 5.5 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Rear camera is 13MP with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. Front camera is 8MP with f/1.9 aperture. The 32GB internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a MicroSD card.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has support for G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB (with OTG), and 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It is powered by a 3300mAh battery, and dimensions are 151.5×74.9×8.1mm.
