The recently launched Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime will be launched in India soon for Rs.18790. This information was revealed in Twitter by an established Mumbai-based retailer – Mahesh Telecom.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime was launched in Vietnam last month at VND 6,290,000 (roughly Rs. 19,000). The price revealed by the India retailed seems to be genuine.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is an upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). There will be fingerprint scanner on the home button, unlike the old model. It will have full HD display, old Galaxy J7 (2016) has HD display. It will also come with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM instead of the 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM in Galaxy J7 (2016). This smartphone will be powered by an octa-core 1.6GHz processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Galaxy J7 (2016) had 5MP front camera and Galaxy J7 Prime will come with an 8MP camera.
The other specifications are same as the Galaxy J7 (2016). The dual SIM J7 Prime will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. It will have a 5.5 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass.
The Galaxy J7 Prime will come with a 13MP camera on the rear with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. The front camera is an 8MP sensor with an f/1.0 aperture. The 32GB internal storage can be expanded using a MicroSD card up to 256GB. The old Galaxy J7 (2016) supports up to 128GB only.
Connectivity options are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB (with OTG), and 3.5mm audio jack. It will have a 3300mAh battery and the dimensions are 151.5×74.9×8.1mm.
