Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in India priced at Rs. 67,900. The company is also offering Rs. 4,000 cashback for purchases made via HDFC Bank credit card. Samsung received more than 72,000 pre-booking in a day, and more than 2.5 lakh registrations on Amazon India and the official Samsung website.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. Some markets (probably India too) getting the Samsung Exynos octa-core SoC variant. It has a 6.3-inch QuadHD+ AMOLED Infinity Display with a resolution of 1440×2960. There is 64GB of internal storage with support for MicroSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has dual-rear camera setup using two 12MP sensors, both with optical image stabilisation (OIS). First sensor has a wide-angle lens with an f/1.7 aperture, and the second one is f/2.4 telephoto lenses with 2x optical zoom. Front camera is 8MP with an f/1.7 aperture.
The Galaxy Note also offers Bluetooth 5.0 and LTE Cat 16 connectivity features. It has IP68 water and dust resistances, and support for wireless charging. The Galaxy Note 8 also supports NFC and MST for Samsung Pay and features a USB Type-C port.
