Galaxy S8

New information leaked online suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S8 may come with dual rear cameras; with a 12MP + 13MP setup. The 12 MP camera might be the Samsung’s own ISOCELL S5K2L2 sensor. The 13MP camera module could be from Sony. We don’t have more details about the Sony sensor.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will also house an 8MP front camera and in iris scanner. An iris scanner is already present in the Samsung Galaxy S7. The recently launched Huawei P9 also had dual camera setup, with two 12MP sensors. Even the LG G5 has dual rear cameras, but the functionality is different. Samsung Galaxy S7 already have one of the best mobile camera today. Dual camera setups are always providing awesome results. The Samsung’s own ISOCELL S5K2L2 sensor paired with a Sony sensor will give even better results.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is also expected to host a 4K VR display. UBI Research claims the handset will sport a 3840 x 2160-pixel resolution. Samsung is only months away from releasing their new flagship model.
