It is widely expected that Samsung will launch their new flagship smartphones on March 29. New reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be priced higher than the Galaxy S7 smartphone. Separately, a new Samsung app has surfaced dropping hints about the Galaxy S8 design.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Price
A Chinese tipster claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 may start at CNY 6,088 (approx. Rs. 60,000). An earlier report from financial firm Goldman Sachs claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will see a rise in price by 15 to 20 percent when compared to its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy S8’s design has bene tested by a new unreleased app called the Secure Folder. Sammobile reports that Secure Folder is available via APK Mirror. It features a smartphone render which possibly could be the Galaxy S8. The render is believed to show a near bezel-less display. The render also shows no home button, which is in line with previous leaks.
Recently, Samsung’s Mobile Chief Koh Dong-jin reportedly confirmed that the company would reveal the official launch date for the Galaxy S8 launch at MWC 2017 next week.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Leaked Specifications
According to latest leaks specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch display variants. Both of them will run the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is believed to be 11 times faster, 23 percent graphics faster, and be 20 percent more battery efficient than its predecessor. The battery capacity will be 3000mAh or 3500Mah for the two variants. Front camera will be 8MP and rear camera will be 12MP with f/1.7 aperture.
