After the failure of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the company is preparing to launch their new flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S8. Samsung might launch the Galaxy S8 in February next year.

Samsung Galaxy S8 with 6GB RAM and 256GB Storage

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come with artificial intelligence based voice assistance with male and female voice called Bixby and Kestra respectively. In an EU patent application description, the Bixby and Kestra is clearly described as “Computer software for enabling hands-free use of a mobile phone through voice recognition” and “Computer software used to process voice commands.” We can expect these smart assistants in the Galaxy S8.

Another reports from Techtastic claims the Galaxy S8 to sport 6GB of RAM. The current flagship, Galaxy S7 has 4GB of RAM. It is also rumored that the Galaxy S8 to have 256GB of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S7 is only available in 32GB and 64GB variants. Samsung is expected to add support for MicroSD cards as well.

Previous leaks also suggest the phone to have pressure sensitive display and optical fingerprint sensor. There could be two display sizes – 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch. It may be bezel-less 4K (2160×3840 pixels) Super AMOLED display with impressive pixel density of 806ppi. This new smartphone will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 SoC.
