Suspend Galaxy Note 7

Samsung suspend Galaxy Note 7 sales due to reports of exploding batteries. Samsung, the world’s largest maker of smartphones and ordinary phones, will replace the already sold Galaxy Note 7 smartphones to its customers. Samsung already sold one million units of Galaxy Note 7 in countries including South Korea and the US. So far 24 of them have been confirmed to have faulty batteries, Koh said, adding he was “deeply sorry” over the Battery Explosions.

“We have received several reports of battery explosion on the Note 7 that was officially launched on August 19…and it has been confirmed that it was a battery cell problem,” Koh Dong-Jin told reporters.

The company decided to Suspend Galaxy Note 7 sales after Several users posted images and videos on social media showing the burned Note 7, saying it suddenly caught fire.

A user wrote: “There was another explosion of the Galaxy Note 7. It was my friend’s phone. A Samsung employee checked the site and he is currently in talks over the compensation with Samsung. You should use its original charger just in case and leave the phone far away from where you are while charging.”

Samsung already suspend the shipment and it will further delay the launch in European countries including France.

Samsung officially launched their Galaxy Note7 in India for Rs.59900. Samsung Galaxy Note7 is powered by a Exynos 8890 octa core 14nm, 64 bit processor (four cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four cores clocked at 1.6GHz). It has 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB UFS 2.0 storage. Micro SD card up to 256 GB is supported. The phone will be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Samsung’s own skin out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy Note7 comes with a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED dual edge curved screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The handset weighs 169 grams including the 3500 mAh battery and measures 153.5×73.9×7.9mm.. It will be IP68 certified, means it car resist dust and eater from entering inside up to a level. The phone does support wireless charging.
