On Monday, Sony India announced that they are slashing the prices of two high-end smartphones in India. The Sony Xperia X Dual, which was launched back in May will be priced at Rs.38990. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual, which was launched on last October, will be priced at Rs.47990.

Sony Xperia X Dual was priced at Rs.48990 at the time of its launch, which gets a Rs.10000 price drop in price now. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual was launched for Rs.62990, later it got a price drop to Rs.55900. Now the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual is priced at Rs.47990, which gives a price drop of Rs.8000.
The Sony Xperia X Dual comes with a 5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Triluminos display for mobile powered X-Reality for mobile engine. There is a 23MP camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor, predictive hybrid autofocus, and pulse LED flash. The front camera is a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. There is 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM, which supports to expand storage up to 200GB using a MicroSD card. The 4G LTE supported Sony Xperia X Dual is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. It measures 142.7×69.4×7.9mm and weighs 153 grams. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports, 4G LTE, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC and microUSB connectivity.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual was the ‘world’s first smartphone featuring a 4K display’. It comes with a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2160×3840 pixels and an impressive pixel density of 806ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is a 23MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. There is 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB using a MicroSD card. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual has a 3430mAh battery. There’s also support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 that enables 5.5 hours of usage with just 10 minutes of charging, using a certified Quick Charge 2.0 charger.
