Samsung today launched a new 4G smartphone powered by their Tizen OS. The new Samsung Z2 is priced at Rs.4950. The price makes it one of the most affordable 4G smartphone in the market. Samsung Z2 is a low-end device that is targeted at those looking for a smartphone on a budget and those shifting from a feature phone to a smartphone for the first time.
Samsung Z2 Features
The handset is powered by a quad core Spreadtrum processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. The screen is a 3.97 inch TFT screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 (WVGA). There will be 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM with expandable memory support up to 128GB. Samsung Z2 will be running Tizen OS 2.4 out of the box. There is a 5MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) camera on the front.
There battery capacity is 1500 mAh. Other features are 4G VoLTE, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. Samsung Z2 will be available in Red, Black and Gold colour options from PayTM and offline stores from 29th August. The Z2 comes with an app called My Money Transfer that lets you easily transfer money from one bank account to another. This app has been developed by the Samsung R&D team in India. In addition, there’s also support for 12 regional languages. The phone offers 40 per cent data saving and the popular S-Bike mode, both Made-for-India features.

This offers will allow you to use unlimited data, Unlimited VoLTE calls and unlimited access to all Jio apps for 90 days from the date of purchase. Jio Preview Offer is part of company’s plan to optimize its network. By giving free data to many users, the company will be able to study their uses, fix bugs and improve overall network stability even before official launch.
