Xiaomi Mi5 benchmark results were leaked earlier this month at AnTuTu. Now a Weibo user @KJuma, released new images of the device. According to previous leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 5s will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC and Adreno 530 GPU. It is more powerful than the Snapdragon 820, which is being used by most of the smartphones today.

Xiaomi Mi 5s Specifications
Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 will have a quad-core setup, which are clocked higher than the Snapdragon 820. There could be two variants in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. Storage options will go up to 256GB, there is no chance for MicroSD card support. This device is also expected to come with a 5.15-inch pressure sensitive display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It might have a 16MP rear camera with 4 axis Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and PDAF (Phase detection autofocus), similar to the Mi5. There will be 8MP front camera with f/1.8 aperture, which will be better that Mi5.
Rumours also suggests that Mi 5s will come with a 3490mAh battery, with support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The image also shows similar design to the original Mi5, with a small round button below the display. The circular home button gives the device a resemblance to the ZTE models.
Another leak from Weibo suggests that the device will have the Snapdragon Sense ID technology on the Mi 5s. This technology will allow the manufacturer to place fingerprint scanners almost anywhere on the device. It will also work with different materials, thanks to the 3D ultrasonic technology. If the company want to, the sensor can be placed under the front glass, which will allow users to unlock the phone by touching anywhere on the screen.
Xioami Mi 5s will also come with the company’s latest MIUI 8 OS, based on the android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
