Vivo X20 Plus UD smartphone has been launched in China. Vivo demonstrated this smartphone at the CES 2018 event earlier this month as the first smartphone with under-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone features an AMOLED panel that hides the Synaptics-made under-display fingerprint sensor, called Clear ID 9500. It will go on sale in China from February 1, with a price tag of CNY 3,598 (approx. Rs. 36,100). The model will be available in only Black colour option with a golden frame.
Vivo X20 Plus UD specifications
This smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC that includes four cores clocked at 2.2GHz and another four cores clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM. It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. There is 128GB of internal storage, and can also support MicroSD cards up to 256GB in capacity using the hybrid-SIM configuration.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD has a dual-camera setup on the rear panel using a 12MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Front camera is 12MP with an f/2.0 aperture lens that also enables features such as face wake.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone running Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity. The smartphone packs a 3900mAh battery. Besides, it measures 165.2×80.02×7.35mm and weighs 183.1 grams.
