Vivo Y55L

Vivo launched another 4G VoLTE supported smartphone in India for Rs. 11,980. The Vivo Y55L is an upgraded version of the Vivo Y51L, which was launched back in January. This smartphone has features like a split-screen for multitasking, and an eye protection mode by reducing blue light. The Vivo Y55L will be available in Gold, Space Grey color variants.

Vivo Y55L Specifications

The Vivo Y55L is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with a 2.5D curved-edge screen. It has an 8MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP camera is placed on the front. There is 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB.

The Vivo Y55L will be running Funtouch OS 2.6 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. For connectivity, there is support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB with USB OTG. The Vivo Y55L comes with a 2650mAh battery, the phone weights 142 grams, and dimension are 147.9×72.9×7.5mm.

Commenting on the launch, newly appointed CEO of Vivo India, Kent Cheng, said,

“India is a very important market for us because of the maximum smartphone penetration. We want to cater to every price point with our innovative products. And, through Y55L we want to tap the users that are looking for a smartphone that not just looks great but also delivers the desired results with its overall package.”
