WhatsApp has officially launched its video calling feature for all users. This feature was previously available only for beta testers, and now everyone can use it. WhatsApp video calling feature is now available across Android, iPhone, and Windows Phone devices.
How to use WhatsApp video calling feature
To use the video calling feature, make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp, open a contact, press on the ‘calling button’, now there will be two options, one to make voice call and the another to make video calls. The video calling service can be used in countries like India where there is poor bandwidth and connectivity.
Jan Koum, CEO & Co-Founder of WhatsApp stated,
“video calling is one of the most requested features from people in India. We’re proud to have the opportunity to launch this feature in India, where we now have 160 million users, and we look forward to seeing people use WhatsApp to talk to their friends and loved ones face to face.”
